Small States and the Law – Last Chance to Register for London Event on 15th June

Island Rights Initiative Director, Susie Alegre, will be speaking on human rights, Brexit and British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies at an early evening event on Thursday 15th June in London hosted by Doughty Street Chambers and co-organised with the Centre for Small States, QMUL.

At a time of global flux, small states are playing key roles on the international stage with Malta coming to the end of its EU Presidency and Fiji building its Presidency for COP 23, but some small jurisdictions can find themselves left out of decisions that will fundamentally affect their futures.  The event will bring together expert speakers and a high level audience for debate and discussion on the challenges and opportunities for small states in international law – The full agenda and speakers as well as a link to register interest can be found on the Doughty Street Chambers website here:
